It is an absolute pleasure to share that The Appliance Recycling Group (ARG) has become the first UK company to receive I-TECs, our independently verified circular carbon intensity and avoided emissions certificates. ARG’s achievement is a genuine milestone. Following a 12-month pilot and third-party audit of their WEEELABEX-approved reuse operations, they are now able to quantify and certify the climate benefit of refurbishing and reintroducing white goods into the economy, structured as carbon insets within their own product ecosystem. This is exactly what the I-TEC framework was built for: bringing rigour, transparency, and market credibility to the circular economy impact that forward-thinking operators like ARG.
